Teaching

I enjoy helping students develop critical thinking skills to apply technical content (programming, statistics) to complicated and meaningful social issues. I first developed an interest in teaching through 1:1 peer-tutoring, so my approach to teaching is collaborative and learner-centered. My teaching interests include data science, complex networks, algorithmic fairness, and the responsible use of data in healthcare settings.
