Improving health services through efficient large data processing.

I am a data scientist studying mental and behavioral health services with a focus on system- and policy-level treatment access barriers.

I earned undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Data Science from Carthage College and am now pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational and Data Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. My work uses electronic health records and administrative data to identify disparities in substance use disorder treatment access. I care deeply about algorithmic fairness, reducing systemic barriers to treatment, and improving healthcare professional well-being while delivering evidence-based patient care.

I am honored that my dissertation work has been funded by an F31 training grant (F31DA066305) and T32 institutional grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse. I am open to postdoctoral opportunities related to health services, health policy, and mental/behavioral health starting in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
